"Most of us came into Narcotics Anonymous with no clear sense at all of what “freedom” meant. The only freedom we really understood or wanted was the freedom to be left alone to pursue our self destruction without interference. Of course, NA changed all of that. Staying clean, working steps, getting involved, and building relationships with others and a Higher Power all have had a part in changing how we see freedom today..."
